The sE Electronics X1 S Studio Bundle is a condenser microphone designed for vocal recording. It features a large diaphragm and cardioid polar pattern. The microphone includes low cut/HPF and pad controls. Its frequency response ranges from 20 Hz to 20 kHz. The maximum sound pressure level is 140 dB without the pad, 150 dB with -10 dB pad, and 160 dB with -20 dB pad. It has a 1x XLR 3-pin analog output and requires phantom power.
The sound field is mono, and it uses a 1" / 25.4 mm diaphragm. The microphone is side address oriented and includes a -10 / -20 dB pad.
