The optical design is an apochromatic doublet refractor, ensuring sharp and clear images. The telescope includes a dual-speed Crayford focuser and is mounted on a Vixen style mount.

It does not come with a finderscope. The optical tube has dimensions of 22 x 4.8" when extended and 18.7 x 4.8" when retracted. The telescope weighs 8.4 lb (3.8 kg), with the package weighing 20.05 lb.
