The Sontronics Orpheus Condenser Microphone features a large diaphragm design and offers three switchable polar patterns: cardioid, figure-8, and omnidirectional. It includes controls for gain/sensitivity, pad, and polar pattern selection. The microphone has a frequency response of 20 Hz to 20 kHz and can handle up to 130 dB of maximum sound pressure level. It provides a 1x XLR 3-Pin Male analog output and requires phantom power.
The sound field is mono, and the microphone is side-addressed with a -10 dB pad. The circuitry is solid-state.
