The Square D 12-input safety mat expansion module offers a robust solution for safety monitoring in industrial automation. It supports 12 digital PNP inputs and features a backplane expansion bus connection for seamless integration with compatible PLC systems.
Designed with safety and reliability in mind, this module can reach category 4 ISO 13849-1, PL = e ISO 13849-1, SIL 3 IEC 61508, and SILCL 3 IEC 62061 safety levels. It has a power consumption of 3 W and a power dissipation of 3 W, with an IP20 enclosure for protection in controlled environments.
