The Square D external neutral current transformer (ENCT) is intended for use with ComPact NSX400 to NSX630 circuit breakers equipped with MicroLogic 5/6 trip units. This sensor allows for protection of the distributed neutral in three-pole systems by installing this external device.
The ENCT has a rated current range of 400A to 630A. It must be connected to the MicroLogic trip unit using a shielded twisted pair cable. The maximum wiring length is 10 meters, with a cross-sectional area between 0.4 mm² and 1.5 mm².
