The Square D single phase combination starter is designed for control circuit applications with a separate control circuit. It features a 2-pole configuration and is rated for an operational voltage of up to 600 V AC. The starter includes a fusible disconnect switch rated at 30 A and has an NEMA 1 painted sheet steel enclosure with external reset.
Its thermal overload protection uses melting alloy 1, and it is compatible with motors up to 1 hp at 120 V AC, single phase. The device does not include local signaling indicators or auxiliary contacts and does not incorporate control units. It is rated for a control circuit voltage of 110 V AC at 50 Hz or 120 V AC at 60 Hz.
