The Switchcraft SC800A Active Instrument Direct Box is designed for connecting a keyboard to a mic input or a guitar. This single-channel active direct box features solid-state circuitry and includes a -20 dB pad. It offers ground lift functionality but does not include polarity reverse. The gain/trim range is set between -17 dB and +3 dB. The device has no low-cut or high-pass filter. Audio input and output options include 1x 1/4" TS unbalanced input, 1x 1/4" TS unbalanced thru, and 1x XLR 3-pin balanced output.
The frequency response ranges from 30 Hz to 30 kHz with a tolerance of ±0.3 dB at 1 kHz. The maximum input level is +32 dBu.
