- Portable Power Distribution Purpose and Use: The MGP-600V.3P-400ACL-400A.CB-FDS-N3R portable power distribution system gives operators the ability to safely manage power in industrial sites. On the input side, operators connect 600V power using one set of male cam-locks (brown, orange, yellow and green). On the output side, operators are provided access to one set of female cam-locks
- Operation: One set of 45°, 400-amp 600V rated 16 series male cam-locks (brown, orange, yellow and green) brings three-phase 600V AC power to the NEMA 3R 400-amp, three-phase 600V main circuit breaker disconnect. Line-out from the disconnect is provided by one set of 45°, 400-amp 600V rated 16 series female cam-locks (brown, orange, yellow and green).
- Protective Construction: The distribution assembly is mounted to a powder coated steel, dolly cart style frame, resulting in an extremely stable, durable, and mobile power distribution platform. Four casters (front two casters swivel) and a dolly cart style mounting platform provides easier substation mobility, and a center point lift point allows easy lifting with cable or chain hooks.
- Certification: Larson Electronics is a UL 1640 panel shop and certified to build portable power distribution systems. All units are built in accordance to NFPA 70 (National Electric Code) and certified to UL 1640. All equipment is NEMA 3R rated for indoor and outdoor use and provide a degree of protection against dirt, water, and ice. NEMA 4 and NEMA 4X equipment can be equipped upon request.
- Grounding: Transformer is grounded to the frame and we provide a grounding lug on the frame for the earth ground.
