The Tiffen MCS UV Filter (77mm) is designed for use with cameras that have a 77 mm filter thread. This UV filter features a magnetic attachment system with a threaded adaptor, which simplifies and expedites the process of attaching the filter. The filter is multi-coated to help reduce reflections and improve image quality. It is constructed from glass and includes an aluminum ring. The filter has a thickness of 0.1" / 2.5 mm for the front and 0.3" / 8 mm for the ring/frame.
