The Tiffen ND Filter (4.5" Round, 1.7-Stop) 412ND5 is a solid ND filter designed for use in bright light conditions with fast ISO settings. This filter features 0.5 optical density and ColorCore technology to allow for quicker shutter speeds in high-light environments. The filter has an exposure reduction of 1.6 stops and is sized at 4.5" with an unthreaded mount. It does not include a front accessory thread or bayonet, and comes without any coating.
The filter thickness is 0.1" / 2.5 mm 0.3" / 8 mm (ring/frame) and is made of glass. The ring is constructed from aluminum material.
