The Turtle AV Dante Domain Bridge TAV-DDB provides dual-network Dante audio bridging with configurable latency and sample rate conversion, supporting AES67 and PCM digital audio formats.
The Turtle AV Dante Domain Bridge (model TAV-DDB) is designed for professional audio network integration, enabling seamless bridging between two Dante networks. It supports 8 Dante inputs and outputs on each of two networks (Network A and Network B), with configurable device latency options of 2, 3, 5, or 10 milliseconds via Dante Controller. The unit handles PCM 2-channel digital audio at sample rates from 44.1 kHz up to 96 kHz with 16 or 24-bit depth and supports AES67 compatibility. Sample rate conversion is available for 44.1, 48, 88.1, and 96 kHz. Network connectivity includes four locking etherCON ports with PoE/PD support (Class 4 IEEE 802.3af), providing primary and secondary Dante redundancy. The device features ESD protection compliant with IEC 61000-4-2 standards and supports transmission distances up to 100 meters over Cat 6/6A/7 cabling. The metal enclosure measures 8.3 x 5.9 x 1.7 inches and weighs approximately 2 pounds. Power options include a 12 V, 1 A 2-pin locking power supply or PoE/PD. Operating conditions range from 0 to 40°C with relative humidity between 20 and 80%. This bridge is suitable for professional AV installations requiring reliable Dante domain interconnection.
