The VIKING ELECTRONICS HD-1 Handset Interfaced DTMF Dialer connects easily in series with handsets and headsets, or it can interface directly to tip and ring terminals using an optional adapter kit. It provides DTMF signaling over a dry pair of wires, ideal for in-house applications.
Power comes from a 9 V battery included with the unit, or an optional PS-1A 13.8 V AC adapter. An LED indicator shows battery status, and an adjustable Touch Tone volume control lets you set the dialing level. The transmit function is switch selectable according to handset wiring protocols.
