Spec SheetThe WIREMOLD 5738AFWH Solid Base Fan Box Fitting is a steel raceway device box suitable for residential and commercial wall installations. It features a 1-inch depth and a width of 5.5 inches, with a knockout size of 4-1/2 inches for easy wiring access.
Designed to accept fan brackets with mounting centers of 3 3/16 inches (81mm), it includes six mounting holes and four 1/2-inch trade size knockout openings. The fitting is rated for use with fans and fixtures up to 50 pounds and is rated for 600 volts.
Its low-profile, unobtrusive appearance blends with any decor. The tough, scratch-resistant ScuffCoat finish can be overpainted with latex paint. Removable covers provide easy access for wiring changes and additions.
