The ZeeVee HDBridge 2540 4-Ch 720p Encoder & Modulator is designed for broadcasting four channels of component and VGA signals over coaxial cables. It supports four DIN inputs and offers video encoding and decoding via MPEG-2 to 720p resolution. The device also includes audio encoding and decoding capabilities with AC3/Dolby Digital support. It utilizes J.83b modulation type with a typical modulation error ratio of 38 dB.
The unit features 4x DIN (Component) input, 1x coaxial output, and 2x RJ45 LAN input/output. Supported cable standards include HRC, IRC, and STD. The RF output level ranges from 25 to 45 dBm in 1 dB steps. It supports various video formats including component (4:2:0) at 1280 x 720p, 60 fps, as well as VGA resolutions. Latency is adjustable between 200 to 400 ms.
