This 1 AWG stranded copper XHHW-2 building wire is sold by the foot with a minimum purchase of 10 feet and a maximum of 1000 feet. For lengths beyond 1000 feet, please contact us directly.
Rated for 600 volts, this wire is suitable for wet or dry locations with a maximum temperature rating of 90°C. It meets National Electrical Code requirements for conduit, underground, and other recognized raceways in services, feeders, and branch-circuit wiring.
- Stranded bare copper conductors per ASTM-B3, B8, and B787
- Insulation made from cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) compliant with UL-44
- Dielectric constant of 3.5 or less, suitable for low-leakage circuits
- Outside diameter of 0.438 inches with insulation thickness of 0.055 inches
- Allowable ampacity: 110 amps at 60ºC, 130 amps at 75ºC, 150 amps at 90ºC
