This 12-4C Type MC cable features an interlocked aluminum armor and a black PVC jacket. Rated for 600 volts, it includes four 12 AWG copper conductors with a grounding wire. The insulation is cross-linked polyethylene (XLP) meeting XHHW-2 standards, suitable for wet or dry locations up to 90°C continuous operation.
The cable is cut to length and sold by the foot, with minimum and maximum order lengths of 50 feet and 2,500 feet, respectively. It installs indoors, outdoors, aerially, in conduits, ducts, trays, and is approved for direct burial when voltage limits are observed.
It complies with NEC Class I, II, Division 2, and Class III, Division 1 hazardous location requirements. The interlocked armor offers mechanical protection as a cost-effective alternative to conduit systems. Flame test ratings include VW-1 and IEC 1581.
