This 4/0 3 Conductor Copper MC Cable includes a #4 ground wire and is sold by the foot. It features stranded, soft drawn bare copper conductors with moisture and flame-resistant cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulation rated XHHW-2. The conductors are color-coded black with numbering for easy identification.
The cable has an overall aluminum interlocked armor, wrapped with Mylar tape for added durability. It is UL listed for 600 volts at 90°C dry and 75°C wet locations, meeting multiple UL standards including 44, 1569, 1581, and 1685. It also passes IEEE 1202 70,000 BTU vertical flame tests and complies with NEC Articles 230-43, 300-22, 321, 334, 518, and 520 installation requirements.
