The MuxLab HDMI Econo Mono Extender Kit (Model 500451) enables transmission of HDMI 1.3a signals over a single Cat 5e/6 cable, supporting HDBaseT 5 Play technology. It accommodates video resolutions including 480i/p, 720p, 1080i, 1080p, and 1080p Deep Color up to 230 ft (70 m), and 4K (3840 x 2160) up to 115 ft (35 m). The kit supports all digital audio modes such as 7.1 channel, Dolby TrueHD, and DTS-HD. Connections include HDMI 1.3a ports, RJ45 connectors, and 3.5 mm jacks for IR emitter and sensor. The metal enclosure houses the transmitter and receiver units, powered by interchangeable 110-240 V to 5 VDC adapters. Operating temperature ranges from 0 to 40ºC with humidity up to 95% non-condensing. The extender requires straight-through wiring with EIA/TIA 568 A or B standards and is reverse polarity sensitive. For electrically noisy environments, shielded twisted pair (STP) cable is recommended. Patch panels are not advised when using 1080p Deep Color. This kit is suitable for professional AV installations requiring reliable HDMI extension over long distances.
