The Orbbec Gemini 2 3D Camera is designed for high-quality depth processing using active stereo IR technology. It features a wide field of view with 91 x 66° and provides 1920 x 1080 resolution at 60 fps. The camera includes internal processing via Orbbec MX6600 ASIC, operating with an 850 nm wavelength. It supports both IR global shutter and color rolling shutter, with anti-flicker capabilities for 50 and 60 Hz. The baseline is 50mm, and it connects via USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 for data and power.
The IMU offers 6 DoF with a frequency range of 50 to 2000 Hz. Mirror mode is supported, and the camera has multiple operating modes including unbinned dense, sparse, and binned sparse for different depth accuracy and power consumption needs. It supports various RGB resolutions and field of views, along with D2C and multi-camera sync functions.
